Review /Description: Darrel Hockley has generously donated another Familienbuch to our collection. This two-volume set covers Dolatz and the nearby filial communities of Gier, Rudna, and Tolwadia. It includes histories of the three villages other than Rudna, family groupings, and indices of female spouses’ names and place names. One unusual feature is an index of occupations, where they are stated. Although it is a professional looking publication, it contains some substantial errors. As always, this Familienbuch is a good road map to help to assist you in doing your own research in the original records.This is a German language book.
